Pedro Candeias is the Founder of Karate Science Academy.
By creating Karate Science Academy, he have a dream/mission: to study, curate, and organize evidence-based knowledge related to Karate and make it Universal, Easy, and Useful for every single Karate coach or athlete!
Fortunately to all of us, there will always be more information to organize and new ways of turning it useful… and Karate Science Academy will always be here to accomplish this goal.

Training Karate for 25 years and teaching for more than 15 years, he became an Education Courses “addict”… and, after starting his Master of Science in Sports Training, he became a Scientific Articles/Papers “addict” too.
Since then, Pedro Candeias’ bedside table readings before sleeping are scientific publications (systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and original research)… all about Human Movement, Sports, and Health (and, of course, Karate).
Karate Science Academy has a huge database with thousands of scientific publications, from where Pedro Candeias takes useful and practical knowledge. This way, he can help all Karate coaches and athletes train in a more effective, safe, and motivated way.
PEDRO CANDEIAS PROMISES YOU ONE THING: HE WON’T GIVE YOU HIS PERSONAL OPINIONS OR EXPERIENCES… HE’S GOING TO GIVE YOU ONLY EVIDENCE-BASED KNOWLEDGE!
